All mailboxes and lampposts are to be uniform in color and maintained on a regular basis.
- On mailboxes, numbers
must be posted, 4" in size, black only.
- On lampposts, there must be a security eye installed.
- The
formulas for mailboxes & lampposts are as follows:

Craft Products, 776 N. Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road - (614) 759-1600.
- Question: Can I leave my garbage cans on the driveway?
Answer: Garbage and trash cans need to be concealed and contained within your home or garage OR concealed by an approved screening wall or appropriate landscaping that provides permanent screening all year round.
- Question: What landscaping and yard maintenance is required?
Answer: Yards must be maintained with sufficient weed control. Overgrown with unsightly weeds destroys the aesthetics of our beautiful development! Shrubs, trees, plantings, must be kept well maintained and manicured. Installation of a major landscaping must be approved by the Design Control Committee prior to installation.
- Question: What information should I have BEFORE I paint my house?
Answer: Exteriors of homes must be kept adequately painted or stained. If colors remain the same, no approval of color is needed. If colors are changing, they must be submitted to the Design Control Committee for approval prior to painting.
- Question: Is there any special considerations for non-working, unused or commercial vehicles?
Answer: Non-working, unused, or commercial vehicles are not allowed to be parked, stored, or temporarily kept on a property within Jefferson Farms - unless it is parked IN a private garage. See deed restriction 4.21 for details.
- Question: Can I have multiple satellite dishes?
Answer: Only one dish is allowed per lot. In keeping with the beauty of Jefferson Farms it is the property owners' responsibility to make sure the dish meets the following guidelines:
- Is not obvious to any neighbors
- Is kept small in size
- Is concealed with shrubbery or an approved privacy fence
- Question: I want to add a deck. What do I need to do BEFORE I have it installed?
Making home improvements or changes such as adding a deck, gazebo, pool, room additions?
Answer: Please familiarize yourself with deed restriction BEFORE designing. Then submit your request to the Design Control Committee. Through a simple review process it will be approved or you will be advised of necessary changes to keep in uniform of the guidelines defined in the deed restrictions. (See 4.11 and 4.21)
- Question: Can I park my boat in the driveway during the summer months?
Answer: Please read all the deed restrictions prior to bringing a boat onto a property. Boats (motor homes, or any towed vehicle) regularly stored at the residence, or temporarily kept longer than twenty four (24) hours is considered a nuisance and must be removed. (See Deed restriction 4.21)
- Question: Is it OK to post "For Sale" signs?
Answer: As per deed restrictions (See 1.05, 3.01, 4.01, and 4.13), no signs whatsoever shall be erected on a property except for:
- One required by law
- One approved by the Committee, meeting all requirements contained in the Jefferson Farms Design Standards
- One professional sign of not more than five (5) square feet per side, advertising the property for sale or rent, or signs used by the builder to advertise his/her firm during the construction and sales period
- Question: Does Jefferson Farms have membership dues? If so how often are they due?
Answer: Every homeowner in Jefferson Farms is automatically a member of the Jefferson Farms Homeowners Association (JFHA) upon the purchase of a deed in this development. Dues for this privilege are set at $150 per year per lot - unless otherwise instructed of a different fee. Dues notification will be mailed to each property owner early in the spring of each year and are due upon receipt of the request, no later than April 15 of that year. Dues may be mailed to:

Please keep in mind the fees go to a variety of purposes. Some of these things include upkeep and maintenance to entrance ways, landscaping and lighting, utility bills for the lights, sprinkling system fees, etc. We appreciate your residency here.
